About the CELPIP Test
The Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP) is a leading English language test designed to assess your English skills for immigration, citizenship, and professional purposes in Canada. Accepted by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), CELPIP evaluates your abilities in listening, reading, writing, and speaking through every day, real-life situations.
There are two versions of the test:
- CELPIP–General – used for permanent residence and professional certification.
- CELPIP–General LS – used for Canadian citizenship applications.

Types of CELPIP Tests

Test Format
