IELTS results for both paper-based and computer-delivered tests are available online.

IELTS scores are issued in the form of the IELTS Test Report Form (TRF), which serves as the official documentation of your performance and remains valid for two years from the test date.

Each TRF includes personal information such as the candidate’s name, date of birth, nationality, and a unique TRF number, which can be used for verification purposes.

The TRF provides detailed information, including individual scores for each module—Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking—as well as the overall band score. Widely accepted as English proficiency proof, the TRF is usually issued once, but IRCC applicants receive two copies.

Scores are reported on a scale from 0 to 9 for each section.

Candidates can access their results via online portals or SMS notifications.

Steps to Access IELTS Results Online:

1. Visit the Official IELTS Website or Portal: Navigate to the official IELTS website or the portal link provided by your test centre.
2. Log In with Your Credentials: Enter the login details (typically your ID and password) provided during registration. These credentials are required for secure access.
3. Locate the Results Section: After logging in, go to the section labelled “View Results” or a similar option.
4. View and Download Your Results: Your scores will be displayed for each module along with your overall band score. Many portals also allow you to download or print a copy of your TRF for future reference.
